Terms of Use

Last updated 14 August 2026 · Effective 1 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of Glimps, the photo and video sharing service operated by Glimps Labs Ltd ("Glimps", "we", "us"), 12 Halyard Yard, London SE1 4RG, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using Glimps you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Glimps

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You must not have been previously suspended from Glimps.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at Contact if you think someone else has access.

3. What you can post

You own the content you post. You give us a licence to host, display and distribute it on Glimps so the service works. You must follow the Community Guidelines. In short: no illegal content, no harassment, no spam, no impersonation, no content that sexualises minors, no content that infringes someone else's rights.

4. Content moderation

We review content that is reported to us and content our systems flag. Actions we may take: remove the content, limit its reach, restrict features on your account, or suspend or close your account. We use a mix of automated tools and human reviewers. Automated tools are used for spam detection and for identifying content that matches known illegal material. Decisions that remove content or restrict an account are reviewed by a person before or shortly after they take effect.

If we act on your content or accountWe tell you what we did, which rule or law applied, and how to appeal. You can appeal any moderation decision within 6 months from Settings, or by writing to Contact. Appeals are reviewed by a person who was not involved in the original decision.

5. Reporting content

Anyone, with or without an account, can report content they believe is illegal or breaks our rules. Use "Report" on any post, comment, Loop, Moment or profile. See the Help Centre for details on how reports are handled.

6. Recommendations and ads

Your Home feed, Discover and Loops are ordered by a recommender system that uses your activity (likes, follows, watch time, saves) and the popularity and recency of content. You can switch to a chronological feed of accounts you follow in Settings. Ads are labelled "Sponsored". We explain why you see a specific ad under "Why am I seeing this ad?".

7. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously break these Terms.

8. Liability

Glimps is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and governing law

We will tell you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Users in the EU keep the protections of their local consumer law.
